Taking care of your body is a large component of self care but it doesn’t have to be complicated or overwhelming. The key to physical self care is consistency. Here are some great examples:

  • healthy diet rich in fresh fruit and vegetables
  • regular exercise and some form of daily movement
  • ample quality sleep
  • acupuncture
  • massages
  • baths
  • daily outdoor time

Emotional and Mental Self Care

This area of self care focuses on becoming more attuned to your emotional and mental state. Habits here help you process emotions in a healthy way. Activities such as:
